@Bella Bradshaw you pick any topic of your choice and you need to speak about that topic for around 3 minutes and at the end, classmates and/or teachers will ask you questions based around the speech you presented. You can bring flashcards with you and will be recorded

It’s really not anything to worry about, I don’t know anyone who didn’t get a distinction, you just have to talk for the right amount of time and show you have interest in the topic but it’s honestly nothing to worry about :)

I got: Maths- 4 English language- 5 English Literature- 6 Combined science- 4 Additional science- 4 Childcare- 6 Catering- 4 Drama- 5 R.S- 5 I was predicted 2s and 3s for everything so I’m so pleased with that! IM IN PRACTICALLY THE SAME BOAT AS YOU!!! I have always struggled with maths and was certain I failed and I have always been good at English and was almost certain I had got a 6 or above! So I ended up getting a 4 in maths some how??!! And a 4 and a 5 in English and I’m so disappointed!! I was getting 6 and above in the mocks!!! I was also in the top set and got a level 5 in English but an A*/8 in my most recent mock exam. I thought the exam went really well too but I’ve seen so many people’s results and they all seem to be unexpectedly low considering most of the people who got those grades were in the top set. I haven’t seen anyone in my school achieve higher than a 7 in Lang which is really confusing as there are A LOT of students who easily get level 8s and 9s. I was going to get my English Lang exam remarked but I don’t know if I should now? Don’t get me wrong, A level 5 is still a really good grade but it’s a little disappointing to me personally as I was aiming higher! Well done on your results anyway Leah, you done amazing!! x

Well im currently in Year 9 but my results for exams we have done so far are Maths: 96-97% average (in top set) English Li: equivalent to an 8 Spoken English: equivalent to an 8 Physics: 100% (might be a 9) Biology: 95% Chemistry: yet to be done German: Top mark History: Top mark Geography: results not here Music: top mark I feel fairly confident when i get to GCSE but u still got to focus and work hard
