I know it doesn't sound good compared to Lydia's but I tried my VERY best and was predicted C's and D's so getting higher than my predicted grades on each exam was such a huge relief!

I understand where your coming from with that A because its your standards I feel the exact same when I get tests back at school and I complain because I wanted higher and people tell me that I should be happy but at the end of the day the grades will only affect you and no one else and if people get offended they haven't realised that it's just based on your standards.

I 100% get what you mean. You've done amazing, so proud of you !! I wanted all A* and A's and english literature let me down but it was one that I was most confident in. I always was getting 8/9 in lessons and in mock exams so to see a 6 literally broke my heart. I've sent off for re marks but I'm beyond annoyed, even though I was one mark off an 7, I wanted that 8 so badly. So happy for you but I get what you mean xx

Also can I ask does anyone know what the science marks I got were like 90 on EACH paper when each paper is out of 60. All my subjects are like that and don't match up to the grade boundaries so how do I find out how close i was in each subject?? xx

HelloAmyy those are ums marks. If you go on the OCR website (I'm assuming that your with that exam cos my results were like that) go on the grade boundaries 2017 and find your subject. It shows the ratio between ums marks and your actual mark. Hope that helps x

Can totally relate to you 100%! I got 10A*s (including an A^), an 8 and a 7 (in English Lit) which was a bit disappointing, especially as I thought English was the subject I improved with the most out of all my subjects and I got a 6/7 borderline-I'm getting it reviewed but I doubt whether or not I'll be able to get an 8...(I was predicted a safe 8 so that was also a bit of a shame) Congrats on your brilliant results though! If you ask your mark for Maths and are just a couple from an 8, you should get a clerical check as there might (hopefully) be an adding error?? Ironic in maths, I know, but perhaps worth considering?
