My story will hopefully inspire you to start/keep going! I started Medical School at the age of 37! My background is not one of a typical of a medical student and many many people doubted me along the way.
I am now in my 4th year studying medicine in the UK.

Well Done Rebecca, look how much all that hard work you put in has paid off, it’s been such a stressful wait for the results. Jess passed both, she thought she failed the OSCE’s so when we found out she had passed it was like winning the lottery. I firmly believe your Dad is watching over you and danced a happy dance with you on the day of your results. I look forward to watching what Year 4 has in store so I can be ready to understand what Jess will be doing after after her intercalated degree. So proud of you both xx

I have some questions about 4/5/6 year medicine, are they the rotations years? Do you get paid during these years? After completion of year six and you get a medical degree what happens then say if you want to be a GP?

@@rebeccabradford7611 i was contemplating applying this year. I’d be 50 then if I went for a GP role… Jesus… I’d be near retirement age.. not sure I would have the stamina for it all now… 😅
