It’s really good for people like me who don’t buy booster boxes or promo boxes and just buy packs when they have the money for it and when they see them in a shop and don’t buy in bulk because you have a higher chance of good pulls. And it’s good for kids who get them as a well done for bing good at school and shit. Because I remember being little and just getting nothing and being dead sad in the early x and y era when I was still in school but kids now have a better chance and that is good

I Remember During the BW days founding a EX was nearly impossible,Especially as a broke Child,everytime i got One It was an event,I told everyone About It,It Felt Even more special,But damn was It sad when you Lost It or Someone stole It. Im happy That children This days are Able To Get V's and such With such ease,everytime i pull a V or such My 5 year old me Comes back For a second and I Just tell everyone i know i got One,It feels so special

That the VSTAR mechanic’s expiration date is nigh isn’t surprising in the least. Delta Species, Pokémon SP, Pokémon BREAK and Tag Team GX were also introduced late and their respective Blocks and were phased out with that block. Now, as per the nature of Pokémon’s competitive formats, the Vs, VMAXes and VSTARs from the last two years will stay tournament legal for a while, so we’ll still see them, assuming they don’t get powercrept by what’s coming down the pipe.

I like the idea that terrastalization is going to come to TCG via a tera card, that's just a mostly transparent plastic card with a Crystaly holo film on it that changes the type of a pokemon when you place it on top of a normal card! Something like that sounds way more fun than the vstar cards we get now. And technically, if you place it on top of any common or rare non-holo card, it can kinda turn any card into a holo if you squint lol! Now I made myself sad that that might not happen lol

I don't know if you'll see this, but wanted you to know this video was the first one I was able to watch after hurricane Fiona. We had no power for days, trees and wind caused so much damage, and some places here have yet to get power back still. I charged my phone in our van, and phone data was off and on, so it was hard to find out what was going on. As SOON as my data was working, I went right to this video to pretend things were normal for a minute. I never got all the way through before it would cut out, but it helped immensely with my anxiety, and I just had to let you know how much I appreciated it. Thank you! Hope you're doing well as well!

I'm also tired of other youtubers skipping over V cards as they aren't even worth the price of a pack. As a casual collector I'm happy to get anything, regardless of what it is worth

I love that Orbeetle one because it has Bugsy on it and Gen II was my favourite generation. Back when I was "collecting" Pokémon cards I always enjoyed getting Trainer Pokémon. To me it gave the cards more depth.

Scarlet/violets ex cards are exactly like the ruby/sapphire ones, where they need to evolve instead of always bing basics like x/y EX. Lowercase ex and all.

I'm glad ex's are returning. Started collecting from FireRed LeafGreen all the way up toex Deoxys and stopped. Came back recently because of tag team stuff. Pretty happy I'm getting a nostalgia trip. Also hoping they bring back the older style of holos instead of the flat bars and lines for a "foil". Miss the random swirls and glitters through the cards.

I really like collecting the Yuki Morii pokemon cards. (They’re the model pokemon, or the ones you call claymation in this video). Theres a couple of rares that they’ve done but most of them are commons which makes them a bit easier to get. I currently have the entire front page of my pokemon binder full of them. Scarlet and Violet has I think two? Starly and Stonjourner. So far I’ve pulled like six Starly cards but I have yet to pull a Stonjourner which is really annoying. I have one coz I bought it individually coz I really like them but I wanna pull one organically so i can have one in my Yuka Morii collection and one in my scarlet and violet collection. I also really like the Litwick in this set and I hadn’t seen that Seedot before but that looks like its also the same.

@foafy are you going to do a look at the small set of Halloween themed "BOOster" set? I think its called trick n trade? I'm not sure. Theres 40 packs per booster bag, 3 cards each and always guaranteed a holo for each pack. I just demolished one today and it was so fun and could totally see you enjoying it as well. My brother works at a card shop, of course being a good brother he was able to give me four packs before release date. In those packs I pulled Vstar Giratina, and Radiant Gardevoir. Needless to to say I got some pretty good luck on me.

My man, Pokemon-exs are returning. E.g., the ones from Ruby and Sapphire. In gen 6 it was Pokemon-EX. Very subtle difference, but exs and EXs are different. (also Pokemon EX were big basics, EG didn't evolve from their typical basic form, but Pokemon-exs evolve from single prize pokemon that aren't big and flashy, and are more like the early Pokemon-GXs [2017], if you want a recent example)

I think they’ll keep vstars. Similar to vmaxes, they kept a few vmaxes when vstars where introduced. I’m sure they’ll keep a few vstars when exs are “introduced”
