An Open Gates sew is always so fun! Not a judgement just what i see( from a distance lol) @18:19 top of screen you have 2 stripe, bottom 2 orange floral , left side 2black w orange flowers. After looking at your finish and OG I prefer yours 😊 . There's more black to get an even all around so you have to decide 🤷‍♀️ Ty for showing close up of names. Ty iron man your pressing is coming along nicely. 👍 The fusible for the bag so pretty 🩷 and good choice of stitch to decorate the edges.

Ya I just laid them out. I actually have 2 colors that touch. But I am ok with it. I'll quilt it up when I have a chance and nobody will ever notice a thing 😄 🤣 😂

Beautiful projects -- you hav a lot more patience then I do! I love the look of the tiny squares around the centre block, however I can't imagine sewing squares of that size together. They would be very wonky if I tried that :D It does look need with the graduated sizes of blocks though. The bag tutorial is also really helpful -- I wondered how to put a panel on the outside of a readymade bag! Thank you for showing us how to accomplish projects like these.

Ya just lots of adjusting to get the bag under the needle. But it is very possible 😊

Karen, you can always use a dab of glue to hold the square in place to make it easier to sew. Also in the past I have carefully opened one side seam and sewn it back up after the appliqué is finished. Cheers from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
