So here it is, Steven Stapleton pulled another one on me, and a coupla dozen others.
I know, I know, this seems over the top, but it is not a special edition of a regular record, nope, it's a brand new album, only 25 copies made, private press, etc.
So I thought I'd show that as I recieve it (scheduled for today!), and discuss what makes collecting Nurse With Wound so much fun, albeit sometimes expensive...

OH MY GOODNESS! The Nihilist Spasm Band! I was *SO* surprised when you read that off of the insert of that early NWW album!!! I have had one of their albums for IDK somewhere between 20 and 30 years! This is THE very first time I've ever heard them mentioned in all this time! WOW! 😁 I'll hafta look it up, but I only remember one song from that long ago off that album called 'No Canada', that's all I remember...

I wanted to add... It's interesting when you said you bought a few albums that you didn't know but looked interesting. I used to do that all the time about 30 years ago. In our used record stores around San Diego, I would go through the 'lower priced' sections and buy a whole bunch of albums that I had never heard of or knew nothing about. Usually, they were somewhere around $1.99 to $3.99. I would choose ones that either had interesting band/album names, or I really liked the artwork. That's how I ran into Spacemen 3 😁 A lot of them are on VOXX records I noticed. I have a whole section devoted mainly to those called 'Alternative' which are truly Alternative, or some ended up in my Psychedelic/Garage section. So, now 20 - 30 years later I'm entering my albums into my Discogs database. Some of these I STILL don't really know anything about, and one here and there will surprise me like one I believe called Suburban Lawns just the other day, I was surprised that the 'Median' price on it was about $60! I wish I could do that now, but as you are showing today, I'd have to pay about $300 - $600 for the privilege 😊

Did you read the UK magazine Audion in the late 1980's through the 1990's? I recently got one of those 3" releases - Hanns Heinz Ewers / Nurse With Wound - Sorcière, Ma Mère / The Top Of The Left Ear. I did not know how they fit into the discography. Alan and Steve Freeman, who run Ultima Thule mail-order and Audion magazine. Specialists in prog & experimental music, Krautrock, RiO, Zeuhl, The magazine was started in 1986.
