Yep, you can tell VHS was on its' last legs at Walt Disney Home Video, given that there were no warning screens at the start and no previews. Just the 2001 Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo, and then the film begins (complete with awkward hard-cut at the start of that Walt Disney Pictures placeholder logo).

@@AnythingTube2327 that is true. Cars was Pixar's and Disney's final film to have a VHS release. I think it's the very last VHS released in North America. It's so unbelievably rare and expensive that it is considered the "holy grail" of VHS tapes. It was exclusively released by Disney Movie Club, same thing with VHS release of Chicken Little.

These Disney movie club vhs tapes were not released in the UK and Australia and Europe and Southeast Asia unfortunately they should have gotten there own release and their own opening and closing but because this was a Disney movie club release mutch like cars the wild herbie fully loaded and chicken little the vhs in this video and they were exclusive to dmc member but if you go on internet archive it says that there is no option for vhs so i think you have to own a active subscription to purchase these tapes the cars vhs is the most rarest vhs of all and might be the real final Walt Disney home entertainment / Buena vista home entertainment VHS tape out there as well as chicken little the wild and Herbie fully loaded.
