Opening Transmission NV-T350 Part 1 -

It seems easy but Jeez that was very hard. At least for me.
Transmission Model for my Eclipse 2g with a 420a engine is NV-T350.
I am trying to empty the case so I can wash it

Marcos you just motivated me to fix the speed gauge on my car with this video, I put the speed sensor on a drill and verify that I don't have a electrical problem, so I realize that the yellow ring on the differential pop out of place. This is what I needed to watch 👍

Its on my 99 eclipse GS, It got a tranny rebuild a year ago, I was driving at the highway and speed gauge just stopped working.

I might need this video later, right now I replaced my clutch and thrpwout bearing since I was getting noise from the transmission and many said it's thrpwout bearing but it was not. I'm hoping that because it's cold maybe changing the fluid made it so the gears arent fully coated and it'll go away. But if not then either my flex plate is bad and hitting the starter or another possibility is the reverse gear is hitting the main gear. Those are the two possibilities I've seen but hopefully the fluid is the answer since I really don't want to remove my transmission again 😖 it shifts really smooth and the clutch feels way nicer than before but that occasional grinding noise makes me scared something will break soon. If sound doesn't go away once fluid and everything settles then I'll save up for a rebuild kit and replace the flex plate at the same time.

I got an extra transmission for $100. Yo be honest I opened the transmission and regretted so much because it's painful and hard to close it back by yourself. Hope you figure out what's wrong

@@CarModsGarage oh but I just remembered you live in Washington now though so shipping cost would probably be really high. I'm going to try to order a new input shaft bearing and if that doesn't fix it then I'll message you but it gives me a chance to save up to be able to cover the shipping

I'm getting a grind shifting to 2nd gear at higher RPM. I'm thinking about doing a rebuild soon and this was good information.

Thanks for uploading this video idk if my trans is the exact one just looked up the nv t350 and got this but gonna try my hand at rebuilding a transmission my uncle said some bearing went out so I got no gears so I bought it off of him for 100 bucks gonna try rebuilding the engine and throw it back in the car to have some fun

12:15 whats is the Exacly name of that "Bearing"? I'm doing the rebuilt to mine but that is bloken and I can't find any out there on the market!

Oh man I'm sorry I don't know but I would research nv-t350 bearing or nv-t350 rebuild kit and see if the bearings are there

Need help identifying the bracket on the trans in this video right next to where the slave cylinder installs to?

Late reply but that bracket bolts to the lower cross member, there's a bushing on it and a bolt goes through the bracket to secure it. The bushing is same material as a motor mount. Hopefully it helps although you probably already found it out.

Hi , if I want to change sealing in this transmission do I need open as Your's ?

I think so otherwise it will be so hard to make the gasket. I'm not an expert on the subject though. Sorry
