They were at a Farmer's Market and I was like no way....I had to introduce myself, but I was hella scared. I did and got to sit with Judy for a little and talked!! They are so down to earth.

I only have 1 female friend so sometimes I feel like I'm missing out compared to others with solid girl groups. I definitely know what you mean by loneliness. I felt like stuck in that feeling for a while after college when all my friends were in different places. I guess related to that, do you have tips on making friends as an adult? When you don’t have friends who can pull you into groups, it’s so hard to find your people in a new city.

It's difficult with covid but perhaps finding different hobbies and meeting people there. I'm sure other people there are in the same boat and maybe you might find someone you bond well with :) I understand where you're coming from, since wfh early 2020, I haven't met new colleagues or caught up with my current colleagues either

I think everyone seeks deeper connection (unless they were traumatized in their life). The problem is it's very hard for other people to relate, let alone have any empathy about your situation because everyone is in their own bubble (especially these days). It takes too much vulnerability and trust for this connection to develop, and you have to make sure that it doesn't break (which it could at any time). Technology makes it easier to get this connection online, but it's still not the same as a real human.

I feel lonely sometimes too since I'm living by myself I start thinking unfriendly thoughts and sometimes I wish I would've had a service animal to help me with my anxiety

I agree:( female friends are important. My major during college consisted mostly of male students and while I did make good male friends, talking to them is different than talking to female friends. Since my female friends graduated before me I went through a period of time not hanging out with them and while I still had and hung out with my guy friends, I did feel a bit lonely/like I didn’t have someone to talk about my more personal situations with.

When you are in the 20s, you have the most energy, motivation, confidence , belief that you can do and achieve anything in life that why you move to LA. By the time you reach 30s, it start slowing down all the way like what happen to you now. That why people have to work or studying part time online but doing nothing will destroy you mentally slowly . Your brain doesnt work? if you dont do exercise, you body and muscle become soft like tissue and weak.
