Opening up about me

Emily is transgender, male to female knowing she was different since age 3.
She started her transition in 2012 at age 51 and had SRS in 2019 at age 58.
She is still married since 1997 and has a son, age 23 who is very special.

Im glad your still here with us and continuing to share your story. As I said before, being able to go back and watch your older videos about your transition helped me understand my friends new world. Without you I couldnt have done that. I hope that your still with us and doing well. I think a lot of the recent increase in hate towards the trans community is due in large part to the people making a mockery of it by making it seem like it's an easy process with no pitfalls and transiting is the best thing for everyone. I wish the media would show more people like you who've been through the process and know the long term pros and cons. And can offer first had knowledge to help people figure out if they're trans, gay or heterosexual but still have traits opposite their birth gender.

Great video Emily. Please try to be more optimistic on your videos and talk about positive things going on in your life and society. Also try to use more gender neutral terms instead of calling me son call me Matthew. Furthermore please try to have a positive outlook on life and think about the good things happening in your life and family and humanity.
