Lovely to see you both back in a van! I’ve been watching for so many years and I miss the travelling as I watched you get to the bottom of South America, propose, almost get stuck in Argentina, live with your Mum during covid, start the house build, get Lika, live in the van outside your house, get married, get pregnant and now extending your home and with Billy. So glad it’s coming back to van travels again and I can’t wait xx

Ah, I'm so very sorry about Mountain Made Vans, but it sounds like you have a good attitude. As Allie said, "no regrets". Everything in life is a learning experience. I understand wanting to share your knowledge and expertise, but sometimes being a small business owner is just one big headache. Hope you are enjoying this new chapter of vanlife!

WoW! Both vans are Amazing!! I’d always dreamed since I was 17 & going to graduate H.S. of owning a van, touring the States🎉 then “Life” got in my way. Now I am 71 yrs old, living vicariously watching Your lives wishing I could afford a van 🚐 as a retiree that just isn’t in my SS budget. Trent & Allie… continue following your Dreams while you can! ❤❤

Good morning Folks. I am sorry your business is paused. I say paused - after the house is done. You have a business plan that keeps you busy along with Brandon and Grayson if you unpause the van business. There’s utility trailers that can become custom built tiny homes for adventures. Old Truck Campers that can be brought back to life as well. Never stop working on the dream.

Hi guys, I’ve had three businesses in my life and the biggest lesson that I was taught to buy an old person that always respected was no one will run your business for you like you would run it so if you take your hand or your finger off your business it will go broke. No one is passionate about your business like you people will look enthusiastic and they will do a good job, but they won’t have the passion that you have anyway. Good lesson to you both. Great advice!

As someone that has worked with many businesses to help them grow and all that this mindset admittedly makes me wonder sometimes. Yes, the idea of “they are not as passionate” on the surface makes sense. That said it is a bit unrealisrtic and sometimes an excuse for poor management. Let me preface this by saying this is not an indictment on anyone. My experience has showed me there is a difference between passionate and control. Also hiring and what you offer makes a difference. That is really it. My advice and it usually works is if someone has that no one cares as much as I do hen keep the biz small and you will usually succeed and be able to keep things close. That is it. peace.

I really hope you guys will hit the road again and take us. Been watching you since before the central, South America years. Really miss those epic stories. What a wild ride it would be to see all 4 of you +2 dogs adventure together. (Or for a month.) Maybe when the house is finished. Someone else left a comment about rebooting the van business as a "garage" business with Brandon and Grayson after the house is done. That would be a cool new direction too. Really, whatever! We're all here watching!

Happy to have the question answered. I have to say,, watching those clips of your adventures on the road made me want to go back and watch those videos. They were wonderful. I hope everyone who is following you now has gone back to see how this adventure began. I also see similar colors in the van you have for sale and it stirs my imagination... not enough to buy the new van but again, enough to make me want to see the two of you on the road. You've really done this whole thing better than anyone else on KZbin. So many are trying what you guys did, and so many end up with videos about how van life sucks. It isn't an easy life. It requires great resilience and fortitude, which you both have in spades. In addition, you are both engaging people who can tell a story and pitch a product without boring us. Happy you've been as successful in KZbin and more importantly IN LIFE. You're living the good life! Well done.

Thank you for your transparency. I, too, had a business killed by the pandemic so I know the wrenching heartbreak of watching your dreams die. Unlike my situation, though, you're still young and able. I'm well past retirement age, so when my business died, I almost allowed a piece of me to die with it. I couldn't even admit to myself how much it hurt! But just like mourning of any kind, everyone mourns differently and takes different times to get through it. I cried a lot. I still have teary days. But I'm focusing on being a Gramma to grandchildren that will never have me back again when I finally get to meet my Lord. I want to make memories for them that live on. Allie, I know you can appreciate how much your Mom's memories with Leo are way more important than a dream that has reached its end. And praise God for this van that has come out of the mess to allow you to go to visit the Nomadic Movement in Vermont! You can go to the places you grew up on the East Coast! You can get to Eamon & Bec! Heck, you can go to DISNEY!!! Congratulations, Guys, and love to your whole family. ❤❤🤗🤗

Sorry to hear about your van business. One thing I learned at a very young age (15) while working in a small family business is there is no 8 hr day! Our days were always over the normal 8 hrs. I can remember during the summer working from 7 am to sometimes 8, 9, 10 pm. Also you have had some major changes in your life. You can only do so much in a day! Take care of each other and try not to spread yourselves so thin. P.S. If your van doesn't sell right away, I liked the one readers suggestion of a raffle.

Y’all can always go back to building vans if you choose to. After the houses are the way you want you will need something to do. I love the vans. Most camp grounds have bath houses so you don’t need much bathroom things. Important to have beds. I cook out side on a table when we camp on my griddle and big toaster oven. I know your family will enjoy the van.
