The E200H only has tiny hard drive of 32GB. I opened up to see if it was upgradable.

Hi! I'd like to ask: can this laptop run without battery and work with just the power adapter plugged in?

yes, you can run the laptop without a battery.

Where is the actual data stored? If I can remove or damage these parts, then I'm thinking that it will be safe to recycle the laptop without handing over my data. Thanks.

It has an EMMC chip and it is soldered to the Board.

so how tf can i get my pictures and videos back if the laptop is dead/done/finished (y'know what i mean)?
@tristan65093 жыл бұрын
Desolder the eMMC with a hot air gun and use an external bga100 eMMC reader. Would reccomend to look for a professional to do it though, since it's pretty easy to rip the solder pads and fuck it up.

Check power supply first

I'm pretty sure you can put an sd card into the slot and you can merge the sd card with the internal storage. However, I think it only supports up to 256gb.

If so, how can I do it? Because I have this problem ):

You can hack am extra internal drive I am sure. You can tap the internal USB connection and +5v I remember doing this on another Aus

Thanks. Now I can blame the I.T guy before me for putting shitty hardware on critical services. Accounting files are lost, and nothing of value was lost.

they are permanetly soldered onto the motherboard

Cheapo netbook. Having removable slots cost money, they've litterally soldered the ram chips to the board to cut costs.

Is there an SSD ?
@RetroLodge3 жыл бұрын
no
@LlamaOates2 жыл бұрын
yes and no. Yes - It is a solid state. No - It not a drive. The storage chips are soldered onto the motherboard.
