My biggest bottleneck is the wires so i can advance and get all the workbenches. Do you have a more productive method of getting the resources ? I'm struggling.

I was in your situation as well, everybody is once for sure, but, if you manage to advance further in the expeditions you'll make enough rubber hoses to make wires. For example now I have over 100 wires done, and roughly 300 spare rubber hoses (I struggle on aluminium wires as they kinda hard to find).
