Last Day on Earth - How to farm Copper Ore

Hey Guys,
I made a little guide on how to farm copper ore and stay alive in the northern regions in the game where copper and fox furs can be found. I included little tricks and techniques that I use to maximize the duration of my armors and the farming of copper ore. I try my best to share my tips of fighting smart and sneaky. Check it out. Yes, that's true unfortunately. I would say just don't give up and keep farming the bunker. Also with the increased chances of motorcycle parts drop, put some of your xmas present money in and get those parts. good luck guys. The game gets more interesting when you do and the new areas open up.

Anyways can u get the ore from green snow zones if they are even a thing? Also how do i get or if there is no snow zones on my map? I need the ore to make a generator to place at the watchtower?? hey thanks for the feedback. i will try to make more vids with me doing more talking and less music. in regards to the snow zones, there are only yellow and red difficulties. to unlock the snow zones, you need the chopper to get to the watchtower. to build the engine in the watchtower which will inturn unlock the snow and oak zones, you need a couple of things but the hardest material to acquire was ten wrenches. the snow zones contain ore which you need to build certain late game items and tier 3-4 walls. good luck brother

How do You get to snow area ? I just cleared bunker Alfa but no gas tank or copper to get A tv or motorcycle going ;/

well unfortunately you need to complete the chopper to access the cold areas. You need to use that to transport the generator (which you also have to craft) which will power the satellite looking thing to the NW of the map which will then open the snow area. good luck brosef.

you can also get some copper by beating the bunker on its most difficult level after activating the alarm, its in the last level i believe. its very hard to do it this way and it may not be worth it however.

you would need your chopper to unlock the watchtower up north and then you can farm it by traveling to the new sections that get unlocked. or i think the last floor in the bunker will sometimes give copper

no sorry, unfortunately, most of the copper will come from the northern regions thats unlocked when you get the chopper.

hmm i think youre trying to ask if you can get to the north without a chopper? you cant because you need the chopper to transport the generator to the watchtower to unlock the extra regions. hopefully they change that soon. good luck on finding the parts you need!

the game creator confirmed that gas tanks can drop from red ticket boxes. i dont think they drop anywhere else. just keep that in mind. so you have to keep farming the bunker and opening the red ticket box every two days. other than that, you can put in some money and try to get lucky and win one. i honestly dont want to recommend the second choice but lets say you spend 20-40$, its not very costly and after getting the tank, the game will become so much more interesting. the events that require the motorcycle give you so many guns and materials. and on top of that, you will be supporting the game creators. good luck brother!

just remember after getting the chopper, you have to build an engine to open the cold regions, you will need many materials plus 10 wrenches. just keep that in mind. the motorcycle events that pop up randomly you can start doing automatically. go prepared into those events by wearing a suit of your best armor and a shotgun and bandaids. always attack the people in the motorcycle event first. after the fight starts, dont just stand there and attack - three people will try to kill you and it may be too tough to heal through 3 people hitting you. keep retreating and shooting so you minimize damage and durability decrease.

i never make any, you can find all of them on motorcycle events. they happen a few times everyday. they recently been nerfed in my opinion. when the event first came out, every event had a few guns...some of them rifles and shotguns at good health. it was pretty nuts.

how to find copper ore in latest update..... I did empty the red zone of limestone area.... but only found bauxite..but no Copper ore...... please help me man. I really need copper ore a lot.. !!! 😀

hey man, copper ore is only available after you finish your chopper and open the northern cold regions. if you scroll NW on the map, you will see a blocked off area by the watchtower. That is where you will find copper ore. In the meantime, the last floor of bunker alpha will also have some copper ores and bars but it can be difficult to clear out. good luck my man. if you dont have the chopper completed, keep opening red crates in bunker alpha to try to get chopper parts. the recent upgrade doubled the chance of chopper parts dropping.

hey so with the new update, certain objects broken down in the recycler has a small chance of giving copper bars. one of these items is the gold watch. that would be another way. also, floor 4 of bunker alpha will give copper bars as well.

@@Gr8pezGaming I am playing it again recently, I think it's the third time I installed it. It just seems to be a little easier to farm now, you don't die easily in medium zones, and the harder stuff has been made easier to make. But, as you said, you need too many boring runs in easy and medium zones to gather enough material to make some decent equipment so you can even consider stepping into a red zone. And after that, you find little of significant value there....too bad, because I still find this game a really good idea and I am surprised nobody copied it yet..

You can find a few ores in the last floor of the hard mode bunker but its been awhile since i played, maybe there are new ways?

haha. well believe it or not, i've found like 5 forks so far. the tank was the harder thing for me to find. if you have the tank, just keep completing the bunker, you'll get that fork soon! dont try to skip the big challenging areas. i think they have chests that have the best chance of drop.

Foxes really aren't worth it in this zone. If you want copper, go for copper and nothing else - will save you a lot of time and ai spawns

really? i find it pretty nice and consistent, expecially in the red zone. if you can find a way to get to the middle of the zone, i can usually get 3-4 per zone. and my armor / pick durability usually will allow me to go back and forth inbetween the zones 4-5 times. in the above video, i was able to find 10. a lot of times i can make it back with 20. how do you normally find yours? lol do tell... :D

Well I typically clear the red oak zone so I can farm all the oak in the area, open the good crates, and hunt all the fox - I usually hit 20+ before i fill up on oak and head home. But just like your video here, the ai have kept me well fed on fur clothing :p

nah you cant, in the areas where you farm oak, you can survive for a little bit before you start freezing, but i think having two pieces of fox clothing can keep you permanently ok. in the areas where you farm copper ore, you have to have 4 pieces on. 3 pieces allows you a few mins and then you have to find firewood and heat up fires and stand by them and you have to do it very very frequently. i would not recommend it.
