I caught “Phantom Menace” this weekend as well and enjoyed it more than I ever did before. It has aged very well. Ewen McGregor himself popped up at a showing here in Atlanta (sadly, not the one I went to).

Great stuff! I love the figure openings but unfortunately it is something I can never do 😂 I’m so happy to see all this out pouring of love for TPM. I saw it 6 times in 99 and unfortunately missed the 3D release but my love for this film has never waned. I’m a child of the Original Trilogy but the prequels and the time around the release of TPM was/is very special to me.

I've seen some people discuss their experience with the Phantom Menace re-release in a similar way. I think I saw someone say it's the 2019 Disney+ restoration which I didn't realise there was one. Now I am kind of regretting not going but ah well glad to hear you had fun with the film. Hope Revenge of the Sith get's the same treatment next year for it's 20th. But all of those figures look great together. I do have that the 3PO but I have to either restore him or buy another one down the road when I can get my collection set up again. I do think there's another Gungan in the Legacy Collection with the horn. I also think they released the TVC one in the Discover the Force line so depending on if that one is as expensive as the TVC one that might be worth investing. And the Airborne looks cool. Wish I had him myself. Why he hasn't been made yet amongst the Clone retools and repaints I don't know. Same goes for the Galactic Marine. It's a shame there looks to be nothing for the Phantom Menace 25th in TVC. Hopefully that changes by the end of the year but I'm starting to doubt it will. Let's hope though. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next video.
