In the EU you can literally see the promo in the front of the box when you buy it. Which was great for me when I wanted a play set of soul servant but awful marketing because no one is buying the retrain cards when you could have servant or dark magicians

i usually don't buy packs cause i feel like im gambling but the nostalgia of opening up packs made me buy booster boxes. friend of mine was like "i wanna get ghost from the past 2 to get the dark magician girl, you should too." im like "na i dont wanna gamble on it and rather buy singles" but something told me to do it, so i did like a month or two later, and pulled a dark magician girl. then next pack i open i pulled another..

Personally, I would use the classic manga art over the other two. Just something about that maga art that pops for me. I also love Apprentice Illusion Magician she is up there with Dark Magician Girl and Silent Magician

I would use the least of the valuable dark magician girl just beacuse if you do intend to play you wouldnt want to risk damage on the better versions. If the value of the cards dont matter i would go with the lost art.

The way dark magician cards are priced would have you thinking it’s a tier 0 deck. Magician’s souls and soul servant are so expensive because they are short printed it’s actually infuriating to try and build a dark magician deck.
