Got the components coming in to build a VRX for my HDzero goggles (radxa based). The Mario 1.0 cam and VTX is on it's way as well. Can't wait to get it setup and flying.

1- So we don't need to get extra wifi card for our ground unit(radxa zero 3w) and can directly use the wifi adaptor available with runcam unit ? 2- What was the latency of the setup ? 3- Thank you so much for your hardwork and the OpenIPC team for all you have done. ❤❤

Yes, you Can Do it, but make a clean vrx with rtl8812au chip, direct Solder to radxa IS better. For the latence 20ms AT 45ms depend of your setting

Hi! I did everything step by step according to your guide, but unfortunately when I choose "Activate a connection", it doesn't show me any available wifi networks. When I changed the system to Debian (downloaded from the Radxa website), the wifi works. Could you help me? If it matters, I have a Radxa Zero 3W v1.11 1GB (no emmc).

Ardupilot has a very wide use base but they are more of the professional side, and not making many social media postings. Other open source projects have initially ignored ardupilot but had to go back and integrate mavlink. Although in this case focusing on embedding the video into the mission planner data screen would probably be more useful.

I'm waiting for the Runcam Wifilink package. I already have the rest of the necessary elements, including the Radxa Zero 3w. I'm curious how it will work with Meta Quest 3. It would be great if in the future there was an application directly for these goggles, so that it would be enough to connect a USB C wifi adapter

The units are now arriving for normal orders. The setup was pretty easy with the android app. The only thing I was unable to get working was the osd with the android app and an Ardupilot flight controller. Is there something I have to enable on the camera?

Yes. Just use a gstreamer pipeline to forward the video stream from 127.0.0.1:5600 to any IP address you want. Cheers mate!😊🍻

My RunCam does not respond on the network at all. Power is correct Green LED is on. I've tried going straight into my laptop Ethernet and into my router. The Radxa shows up in the OpenIPC configuator scan but the camera doesn't do anything. Oh the RunCam does generate a GS.key and user.ini on a blank SD card but that's it. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Do not use the RunCam firmware. Use the configurator and flash OpenIPC URLLC version. Then setup your camera normally. Cheers mate!😊🍻

i cross my finger we will see useable system for fpv pilot soon, with complet kit and more userfriendly!(and perhaps google for it with analogue compatibility) for me it s like express lrs system for radio..it will be a standard with huge community

The system is already very usable. Thousands fpv pilots are using it because they have already and we know that because they have already bought the hardware. RunCam already has the G bundle which has everything you need for a basic kit. We have created the OpenIPC Configurator and it is as simple as clicking a few buttons to setup your system. No more command lines etc, very user friendly. Goggles are under development. I have already posted a video for the honorary member. If you want to see it please consider becoming a member. Is this guide up to date? Using OpenIPC v1.8.0 image I`m getting Connection Failed after executing wfb-cli gs. For some reason the WIFI otg is stated as unmanaged. Between this video and the wiki guide i could not find a coherent step by step tutorial that does not omit something. Or even a troubleshooting FAQ

Most of us have the 1GB no eMMC version and works great, never had any issues. Make sure you use high quality SD card.

you have skipped most important part, how did you get ip address and how did you SSH

i got my ip to type ip addr but i'm unable to connect to that ip address

The ip is static 192.168.1.10 so you must change your ethernet adapter to 192.168.1.11 I did say that on the scan part of the video tutorial. You can ssh with any software you like. I use Putty but it’s a personal preference. Cheers mate!😊🍻
