OpenSuse Tumbleweed live session and OPI is AWESOME!!

Did you know OpenSuse has a live session installer? It does, and it works absolutely great.
Packman is the user repository for OpenSuse, similar to the AUR in Arch. Opi is the installer for the packman repository, similar to yay with Arch.
You can use one opi command to install a great many codecs, and use it to install google-chrome super easy, as well as MS Teams and others.

Me either. I kinda learned it by accident. A minor mention to opi codecs. About 2 months later I realized opi google-chrome and many other things

I've had a few issues with openSUSE Tumbleweed. The first was the system got borked the system so I couldn't get into graphical mode and I had to reinstall due to mesa drivers version not being set to openSUSE repository. The second was a GPU driver update also borked the system so I couldn't load graphical mode. The second time I realized I could select a snapshot from the boot menu and do a snapper rollback and then do another zypper dup and that time the upgrade for the graphics driver worked. Asside from these issues it has been great.

Opensuse have not many packages duplicate because the quantity of package managers? Thank you..

Packman is excellent but I do prefer sand-boxing programs like VLC flatpak so I can avoid codecs installation thereby. The problem with Packman just being it stays little behind pushing updates for new codecs and breaks up when your system factory vendor packages stay up to date and Packman packages behind. But opi is phenomenal just like Aurhelper

Personally, I would use OpenSuse micro os for that type of use case
