I wonder if this half-dressed thing at the end of act II indeed is part of the Libretto. If i remember correctly, then every realisation has the problem how to reveal to the sisters that theyve been fooled by their own partners. Half-dressed is a good solution. Another way would be that the men ask the ladies to show them their new partners, what they cant obviously.
