not sure whose performance was more intense, yours or dans". it was more an explosion than a reaction. so enjoy your enthusiasm as you discover more and more about dans' execution of his music. particularly enjoy your in-depth analysis as these are rarely found and extremely insightful.

I don't know how many times I have watched this masterpiece by Dan Vasc! His over the top voice going from high pitch scream to a deep tone and ending with a soft whisper ! His charisma and his way to tell this story is so impressive! Listen to his "Music Of The Night" from The Phantom of te Opera! It's another masterpiece! Thank you for your great reaction !😊

My only criticism of this piece is that it's not longer! This is a real bravura performance, showing off a bunch of Dan's voices, styles, and techniques all at once, and how he can switch effortlessly among them. And the acting, of course! Everybody does tend to start with Toss Your Coin, but the original version of that one didn't give him a great deal to work with. The other three Witcher covers are all FANTASTIC and all different. And they're all his arrangements. I highly recommend The Song of the White Wolf, and the metal version of Priscilla's Song. He also does a lovely, restrained of the latter in an acoustic version, as in the original. Another mind-blowing song for experiencing Dan's vocal toolkit is his Nightwish cover Bring me to Life. I guarantee you will be astonished. THANK YOU for returning to the phenomenal Dan. I enjoy your enthusiastic and knowledgeable reactions. And, believe me, there's still LOTS out there! (Want an acoustic Scottish folksong? Try Loch Lomond, so lovely.)

I really love your reactions to Dan, from you just totally rocking out, to your very knowledgeable analysis. I think 'Priscilla's song' from the Witcher would be a REAL treat for you, because Dan made both an acoustic version - with nothing but a lute as accompanying instruments - and a full blown metal version. I think you'll get a kick out of these two versions.

I love this song and video. You have a way of explaining in superb detail what I feel mentally and emotionally when enjoying the truly exceptional and visual performances that Dan Vasc gives. I like that you play the song first, and then you break it down. There is a fascination of how he goes through all of his ranges and techniques and manages to blend them so beautifully! I sometimes even find myself “ sitting on the edge of my seat” as he sings. Again, I thank you for your reaction. I was greatly surprised and pleased that you chose it. Such fun to watch you!

Yep, Dan took another bard song & created a metal masterpiece complete with his theatrical flair. There are still plenty of recognizable aspects of the original, but this is so much like a blend of the anger & hurt of Jaskier the bard (from being dismissed by Geralt of Rivia/the Witcher) with the sheer aggressive power of the Witcher himself. You can find the original versions of these Witcher songs on KZbin to compare them, btw. It definitely adds to the appreciation of Dan's creative & vocal abilities to see how he converted those songs. It's always fun to watch someone experience Burn Butcher Burn for the first time, though. Lol. The term "Butcher" was a reference to the nickname given to Geralt after an incident that set him up to have to kill some people in a village in order to live. The Butcher of ____" (can't recall the town's name... Blavatsky or something). Geralt hated it & it was an insult in the song to drive home Jaskier's seething hatred for him at that time. Dan's other Witcher covers are great, too. Check them out at some point. The Song of the White Wolf and both versions of Priscilla's Song (Wolven Storm) from the game are great. Before doing the latter one, pull up the original song from the game, which can be found on KZbin, and was sung by a female about Geralt's relationship with the mage named Yennifer. Loved your analysis of Dan and the sheer enjoyment in your reaction. 😊

"Burn Butcher Burn is a ballad by the bard Dandelion, because Geralt (The Whitcher) accuses him of constantly dragging him into things and breaks off his friendship, the two part ways." Dan has perfectly combined the character of a medieval bard's song with metal, coupled with the anger and disappointment of the bard Dandelion, in singing and performance. An outstanding brilliant performance! When I saw your reaction to this song, I immediately dropped everything and watched it. Thank you for this wonderful reaction. I look forward to further reactions to Dan 😊

Dan Vasc interpreted this song so magnificently and brilliantly, with a perfection that I rarely hear. He has fantastic vocal control, a very beautiful timbre and he understands exactly the emotions that the songs need. His voice is extremely versatile. The ability to interpret even the most difficult songs emotionally perfectly is something that not many can do, and that too completely alone. I just love this vocal color in all its highs and lows ❤🤘

Dan Vasc's success reflects his hard work, dedication and passion for his craft. This boy is a true combination of talent, hard work and determination!!!! It will literally be the song you sing and pull you into your world. Dan's music absolutely blew me away. He seems to have a very good head on his shoulders and a wonderful sense of humor. A special young man with a special wonderful voice. Many are surprised by the fandom of the older age group. I consider intrusive, violent fans, regardless of age group, to be jerks! I just quietly note that I listened to metal music when He was just a pleasant thought to his mother. I love what you do and how you do it! i respect him for that!!!!
