Loved the reaction. Alestorm is a ton of fun and seeing them live is insane and huge amounts of crowd participation. Drink live would be a good next listen. Also like Fannybaws. Also of note that Alestorm's lead singer is the keyboardist for Gloryhammer another really fun band. For their limited and digital deluxe editions of No Grave but the Sea they added a bonus disc for dogs with all the songs from the album redone with the vocals rep[lace by autotuned dog barks!

They normally end their gigs with a song called "Fucked With An Anchor", when they play that song the band are flipping the audience off and the audience are flipping the band off. A few other good ones: Keelhauled, Drink, Shit Boat (No Fans)

Alestorm is a fun band! 'Drink' is my favorite song by them. I dont know if you've listened to Symphony X yet, but if not, you should. Check out their song 'Inferno' :) Everyone in the band is a virtuoso.
