A little advice to speed up spreading cornstalk bale, leave it on the bale spear, cut the wrap off, than use the hydraulics to shake the bale. Start the furthest in the building you wish to go, than shake bale an back up. Saves a lot on manual labor .

Laura, the round peg that protrudes from the cab at the door opening on the left side as you are looking in. Move that out just a little bit. Just turn it out to loosen like a bolt, slide it out just a bit then tighten. If you slide too far the door won’t seal right. 😀

There’s a place near by called Coffee Bar (very original) that has the best coffee and brownies. In most places in California it’s hard to get a “coffee”. You have to order a latte or an Americano. But this place is really good. The coffee with that moist dense brownie (size of your face, Laura Face sized) that has just a hint of peanut butter flavor is where I go when I’m having a bad day.

Good ole farmer ingenuity at work! Farmers don't get to call people to do things for them because they usually can't plus that costs money. They always try to fix and do everything themselves and learn to be self reliant/sufficient. City slickers usually don't. This is why I know how to do so many things and can fix just about anything there is for myself because most of my family were farmers and couldn't afford to hire others to do things that they could learn to do for themselves. Didn't take her long to master the skid steer. Laura takes to new things like a duck to water! Or should I say "ducky wuckies"? LOL! I LOVE hearing her call the calves "cavvy wavvies"! Too cute and adorable! Makes my day watching and listening to this awesome farm girl going about her daily endeavors with her smile, laugh and this girl is smart and a go-getter! Grant is one lucky man! Oh as for best glass cleaner, I prefer ZEP commercial spray glass cleaner is THE BEST! I buy mine at The Home Depot. BTW, the door latch was stuck/frozen in the open position on the Freightliner, hence why it would not latch closed. LOL!

I like Sprayway glass cleaner in the blue and white can ammonia-free for windshields and headlights because the foaming action stays on longer, and loosens the bug guts. You have to keep wiping with a dry towel for it not to streak. For the house windows good old, good value from Wally World glass cleaner with ammonia. The reason I like this is because if there are hornets or wasps around when you're cleaning your windows you hit them with a shot of that and it puts them right down!! Didn't see the Zach Johnson finger snap when the clamp-on hitch came off the front of the bucket. LOL

The best glass cleaner me and my grandfather have always used is really just warm water and vinegar. And my grandfather never used paper towels. He always used crumpled up news paper. Sound wierd but it works. But not like the store adds just the regular old news paper. Good job on the skid steer laura. Out of all the skid steers I have run over the years bob cats are in my opinion the hardest to operate. The catapiller skid steers are probably the easiest in my opinion to run. My son loves seeing the calf videos. Keep up the great work and soon we can get to planting fields.

Windex will wreck window tint film so you gotta be careful what you use it on. Most canned glass cleaners that are ammonia free are tint safe.
