Good advice. I bought one today. A little puzzled as to why the USB port and power port are not a robust design. My previous Sony camera USB port was a constant source of a bad connection to the computer.

Go to MENU -> EDIT/COPY -> DELETE. From here you can select the clips you wat to delete.

I see when you say ( Regarding the door ) You open it to turn the Camera on - and you say if it don't turn on, press the button. Problem is: If it don't turn on when you open the door ( Because it should ) then the Camcorder is faulty and it should be sent back.

I thought that if the camera doesnt turn on when opening the screen it just means that the camera was turned OFF with the ON/OFF-button last time and also needs to be turned on with the ON/OFF-button.

In the menu go to REC/OUT SET ->REC SET -> REC FORMAT. Note that different file formats have different with regards to frame rates.

Sony ??? ...Why not having a useful level DISPLAY , LIKE the little > HX V90 still camera ! ( I had a X70- A700- AX 53 - MC88 and now a NX 80 NON OF THESE Cameras HAVE ONE , and the cheap HX V90 brilliant little camera have one !

I'm sorry, but why in the world would you buy a camera that offers so much manual control just to put everything on auto settings? The whole point of this camera is being able use manual settings. Oh well.

Aside from all the manual settings, the camera is also great because it gives a great picture quality, also when everything is set to auto settings. To most of our clients it's very important to be able to pick up the camera and start filming instantly. Easy as 1, 2, 3.
