ਕੌੜਾ ਸੱਚ ਸੰਨ1984 ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਫੌਜੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜਤ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਗਵਾਰਨਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਾੜ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸੰਬੰਧਤ ਕਾਗਜਾਂ ਤੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕਰਨ ਤੋ ਨਾਂਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਜਦ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਦਬਾਅ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਘਰ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਬਿਹਾਰ ਕੇਡਰ ਦਾ ਆਈ ਏ ਐਸ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਰਮੇਸ਼ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਵਕਤ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਾ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਰਸ਼ਮੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਚਾਰਜ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਜੂਰੀ ਫੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸੇ ਰਮੇਸ਼ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕੈਦੀ ਬਣਾਏ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਤੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਕੇਡਰ ਤੋ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕੇਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ। ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ " ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਜਿੱਤ " ਦੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ 15 ਅਗੱਸਤ 1984 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਫੌਜੀ ਅਫਸਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਸੇਵਾ ਮੈਡਲ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਬਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਚੀਫ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਰਮੇਸ਼ਇੰਰ ਕੋਈ ਬੇਗਾਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦਾ ਸਾਲਾ ਸੀ..... ਬੀਬੀ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਪੱਤਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦੇ ਸਕੇ ਮਾਮੇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ....ਜਾਨੀ ਬੀਬੀ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ' ਮਾਤਾ ਖੀਵੀ' ਅਵਾਰਡ ਤੇ ਸੱਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਗੱਦਾਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੂੰ 'ਫਖਰੇ ਕੌਮ' ਦਾ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ.... ਕਿਉਂ ? ਕੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਹਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਇਕ ਹਾ ?...ਕੀ ਅਸੀ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ 7 ਤੇ 9 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੀਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਿਣੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਹੀਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਸ ਕਹਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਾਇਕ ਹਾ ? ... ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਪਤਾ ਕੀ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ ਉਸਨੇ ? ਆਟਾ ਤੇ ਦਾਲ .... ਟੀ ਵੀ ਤੇ ਐਡ ਦੇਖੋ ... ਖੰਡੇ ਬਾਟੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਹੁਲ ਧਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਵਾਰ ਆਟਾ ਦਾਲ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਖਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੰਗਰ ਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਸੋਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪਖੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਕਰ ਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ... ਹੁਣ ਆਟੇ ਦਾਲ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਤਾਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ .. ਜੇ ਥੋੜੀ ਵੀ ਜਮੀਰ ਮਰਨੋਂ ਬਚੀ ਹੈ...ਤਾਂ ਸੋਚਿਉ ਜਰੂਰ।
