Love this theme! The artist’s outfit for the Barbie is perfect, as is the Barbie coloring book with the artist Barbie. The watercolor paint set is a fantastic Wow, and the extra paint brushes are the perfect addition for that. Isn’t it fun to find last minute items to coordinate so well for a box - like that composition book with the paint swooshes. Love that! TFS, Trish!

Thanks, Val! I thought the same thing about finding these last-minute items. The box has been packed for a long time, but although I really liked it, I felt like it needed a little more umph. Then I found the artist outfit and was able to squeeze in a Barbie doll and then at the very last minute I found the notebook. Perfect additions to pull it all together! 😁

I love this one!! The paint brush I thought was silly also! I actually snipped off the top and blued on the tip of a real tiny paintbrush! I took your advice on the paint palette also and love it so much more! The paints you included, other art supplies, and the art inspired items like the car and mirror- it’s all perfect! I loved crafts as a child too and I would have loved this wow of a box! My favorite is definitely the Van Gogh compact! How beautiful! That box was like Mary Poppins bag! You just kept pulling things out! So many wow items! You definitely needed a bigger box for this one! The recent composition book find for .25 was perfect! The paint palette is awesome and I loved how you painted the colors on the Barbie dolls palette too! I would love it if you heard back from this young lady! TFS this amazing art themed box! What an amazing box! There are so many exceptional items in it. I bought some of the artist Barbie outfits to put in art filler packs. Your idea to add color to the paint palette is great. I'm going to copy you. I think I'll also add one color to the paint brush so she knows it's a brush. I agree with you that I don't think she'll know what it is otherwise. The other things that really stand out for me: the water color paper, tee shirt, puzzle. There's one very lucky girl out there who is going to be thrilled.

One of the girls I used to nanny will be 13 in March, and she is super creative/artistic. I want to get her some fancy art supplies, a puzzle that shows an artist/creative person’s desk. The tote bag is a good idea too. I’ll get her a book too, plus some hair and beauty products too.

That particular box is 8.5“ x 13” x 5” as I needed the width for the watercolors palette and watercolor paper pad.
