I send a lot of Barbies. I can sew, but not make Barbie clothes. When the clothes I buy are short, I always sew lace on the bottom of dresses to make them longer. I always make them a matching purse, usually out of felt. I also make necklaces for the girls boxes, so I send a matching necklace with their Barbie.

I'm almost speechless! What an amazing box of blessings! The dresses are gorgeous and the transformation is incredible! Wondering what was used to remove the lip color? I didn't get that barbie..even though I loved her hair...I didn't love the lip color. Now, I want to find her. So many beautiful things!! Is there anything Michelle can't do?

Barbie clothes are so expensive. Great idea for reusing the leggings. I like how with the darker skinned dolls Michelle did an African style dress. That'll be perfect for if these boxes go to those areas. I've been thinking about picking up some of the swimsuit Barbies as they are the least expensive, but in terms of modesty, the swim suits are printed onto the dolls. Only thing is that finding clothes can be an additional challenge.

Michelle did an amazing job refashioning the Barbie. What did she use for the lips? I was thinking as you were talking about Michelle sewing the dresses a thought popped in my head. If she could make a simple pattern and the y'all could include it with a Barbie and a small sewing kit and fabric, for the child to sew more doll clothes.

Hey there! This video was listed under tutorials on Blessings in a Shoebox. Is there any way that dress pattern can be made available to the public? I was thinking I would like to make a super simple modest dress or two to go with a Barbie in the box, however, I'm not sure how my pattern would look, lol. I have Barbie patterns, but I don't think I have anything that could be whipped up to where I could get several done in a short amount of time. Would love to have the printable pattern if one is available please and thank you!
