The unboxing of a “Rocket Man” themed Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoebox for a 2-4 year old boy. Fitting a space shuttle toy, two stuffies and a backpack in an average sized shoebox. This little boy is going to be over the moon to receive this out of the world shoebox! 🚀👨‍🚀 💫🪐 I love his rocket ship- such a great wow!! His plushies are adorable and I would definitely keep the heart on! What an awesome backpack!! His shirt is too cute! So much fun to be had in this box! 2-4 boy is definitely my favorite age group to pack for. 😊

Trish, I love this box. It is so full of fun. I love the way you make your boxes coordinate so well and fit in so much! Also wanted to share this tip about peeling the stickers. My granddaughters told me I was doing it wrong because I was trying to peel the backing back from the stickers. I found them almost impossible to do. My granddaughters told me to peel the vinyl sticker forward so it comes off the backing towards the front. I tried it, and it works so much better for me. You may already have tried doing it that way, but I thought I'd share just in case you were doing it like I was..

What a great box Trish! All of the rockets basically match each other but you are awesome at matching up your items! Super cool pop it astronaut. I love that you translated your letter into different languages. Very nice quality backpack! 2-4 is definitely easier to pack for but my goal is to pack as many 10-14 as possible this year. I just think they only have a small window to receive a box at all. This is my last year packing so I am depleting my stash. You did a wonderful job on this box and he who receives it will be blessed beyond measure. TFW!

Thank you, Jeannie. I think the 10-14-year-olds are just as important as the 2-4-year-olds. OCC does receive fewer 2-4 boxes than 10-14, but there are only 3 ages in the 2-4 group, whereas there are 5 ages in the 10-14 group. It’s the 5-9 boxes that most people pack. When I volunteered at the PC last year for a 5 hr shift. Almost all of the boxes that came through my line were 5-9. It was eye-opening. 😲

@@byrdfeed9071 I’m a bit on the fence with how OCC age groups work. A 10 year old is very different than a 14 year old IMO.

@@batmansboxes4936 I definitely agree. The same with age 5 versus age 9… Big difference. But honestly, there’s a huge difference between age 2 and age 4, as well. I just try to pack for the oldest in the group and hope for the best, figuring the youngest will wear it big or wait to grow into it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t pack many 5-9 boxes, but I admit I pack quite a few girl 5-9. But I also pack many 2-4 boys and girls. I agree - fun and easy to pack 😊. Love this box! All of it! Everything ties together perfectly - even the cat. I never saw the MyLife cat stuffies. Very cute. The rocket ship toy is amazing. I don’t remember seeing those. What a fun toy 😍. The note on the batteries is a great idea. The box of kid Dough is also perfect for the box. I always look forward to seeing the great outfits you put together and pack up. The pencil sharpener, socks, and Mickey sticker color forms are perfect additions for the box🤩 🚀 🪐 TFS !

Thanks, Val. Honestly, I try NOT to pack ANY 5-9 boxes at all, but somehow I always wind up with some 😂 and, yes, more girls than boys🤷🏻‍♀️! It just happens!! I suppose part of my problem is buying clothing to fit the 5-9-year-olds. I’ve stopped doing that, but I still have some left in my stash to use up, so I guess I will have 5-9 boxes next year, too. I found 2 of those My Life kitties, 3 unicorns and 2 hedgehogs (actually 5 hedgehogs, but I only bought 2) 🤪. TFW my friend 😘

I love his wow rocket. I packed several last year and I’ve been looking for more ever since! Walmart must have discontinued them. Such a great toy! His kitty is perfect! Love his rocket shirt and backpack! Wow! That is so interesting that your boxes haven’t gone to a Spanish speaking country! Those seem to be the most responsive imo. It’s funny how OCC does the shipping. I guess it is all depending on where the PC is. Thanks for sharing and encouraging packing for the 2-4’s and 10-14’s! I agree… I find the 2-4’s the easiest and most economical to pack for! And I really do enjoy packing for them! The boy that receives your box will be skyrocketed with joy! ❤🚀❤️

Awesome box, Trish! Love both the stuffies, the moon looks cute with the heart! I say keep it on. I wish we could "follow our box" in Canada. From what I can tell, the Canadian website doesn't have that option. Maybe one day in the future they'll add the option. I've received 3 emails back from the families of children who have gotten my boxes, and all three were from Colombia! TFS!

Thank you Sharon. I would just slip it into a zip top plastic bag and add a note saying something like: “Attention Adults: not intended for child’s play. Replacement Batteries for _______ toy.” You can be assured an adult will go through a shoebox gift given to a 2-4-year-old. You can also say it in several different languages using Google translate, if you have any ideas where your shoeboxes typically go based on previous experiences.

🙁 If your country does not have an OCC processing center, you can pack a shoebox online. I always leave the link in the description of my videos (since Sept 2021, anyway). My older videos may not have the link directly to “Pack A Shoebox Online”. It’s easy and fun to do. I hope you decide to try it. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment 🥰
