so, after a few runs with mine, I have replaced the ESC, because during drives, it would just stop moving. after a power cycle, it would drive again, but not for long. after replacing the ESC with a hobbywing 1080, it still did the same. last thing is the motor itself.

Just a thought,,, I think you should try reversing the wires on the hummer motor. Seems to have a lot more power in reverse. Again just a thought but In reverse it was spinning tires but forward it just crawled away. Maybe give it a shot and do some testing.

Yeah it's a reverse rotation so that could be the issue.

That body is so heavy the suspension need improvement BIGTIME!! Ive seen what it comes with and they are way too small in my opinion. Plus thier friction shocks did you put oil in them by any chance? Very cool to see it running though. Thanks Intro👍👍👍👍🤫✌

A wise man once said.... Oh wait that's you. Yeah no I just learned about the shocks. I guess they can be filled. I may look into different springs IDK. The tires added like 5mm clearance. But that's all you can get from that. Litterally a 1/4 inch would help.

@Bill Chisholm Hi Bill well first I gotta ask do you have do you have any experience with Lipo batteries? Because they can actually be dangerous, but a 2s or 3s Lipo battery and charger are what would work best. They would probably cost around $60 dollars. I can try and help you some more if you would like.

Thanks man, but exactly. It comes with a 12t motor only rated for 7.4 volts so I changed the ESC cause IDK if it could take 3s and put a 21t TRX4 motor in so now I have more torque and can run 3s. Like you said Half a inch of ground clearance would make all the difference to. I have some work left but it's fun!

If ur reverse is much stronger then going forward, its possible u have the motor running backwards n u can swap any two wires on ur esc n should fix the issue, u might wanna give that a try

@@STEVOD313 Yeah he is lol! When he cleared the whole backyard out it was like an eternity of composted leaves. The dirt would just fill the grooves in your shoes then fall out inside my house. So I came with that ingenious idea. And bought a bunch of those booties. It works awesome and Miss Kiki doesn't get mad. Glad you like the Intro!

@@STEVOD313 Glad you said that cause there is what I thought what I think and what makes sense. Cause it is a TRX 4 reverse motor. If I reverse the leads I'm gonna have to reverse it on the radio. Is the motor different tho one way or the other cause aren't you just reversing polarity. Shouldn't it be the same either way? Thanks!
