at 5:13 at the left you could see an elderly lady wiping tears off her face and is then conforted by the policewoman by a touch of hand. What a touching little moment.

Am old enough to remember when George VI died. We went to school that morning and an assembly was called at which we told of the King's death and were sent home. But what I also remember is the sense of shock in our community. We were in "wartime housing", which was housing put up rather hurriedly to house the returning vets and their families. So every man in our community would have sworn allegiance to George VI, and now he was gone. It was a shock. Fast forward, and Her Majesty dies on 8th September. I happened to be the server/lay assistant at our parish the following Sunday and realized - as reading out the "Intersessions" - that I had to make a change. My prayer book refers to HM Queen Elizabeth, but Charles was now King and I had to edit the prayer to reflect that. I rather think that was when the reality of Her Majesty's death fully hit.

I remember when King George VI died. The school was assembled at the flag pole and the flag lowered to half staff. For the mourning period I remember many people wearing black arm bands. My father bought our first television just before the coronation. The film was developed in the planes carrying the various portions to Canada. We spent the day gathering as each section was televised.

@@sathihalder7293 there was also no such this as India for the record. We made those nations. And why do you hate Britain for bringing you trains, schools and democratic values? If Britain did not control India then someone else (probably France) would have. Furthermore, why don’t you hate the Mughals, they too occupied India but they were violent and suppressed Hinduism. But no, you’re just another brainwashed, nationalistic Indian who thinks Britain is the root of all evil.

Nice traditions, full of surprises and historical events ♡♧☆ Obviously she can Rest In Place/Peace, now...people loved Queen Elizabeth II (Alexandra Mary) because she was very charismatic Lady, naturally beautiful, short in hight with big "boobies "; also compassionate indeed and tolerance spoken throughout her soul; she married Prince Philip of Greece who was her 3rd cousin, by families blood line. The Queen Elizabeth II (Alexandra Mary) has given life throughout the incest marriage to: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew & wonderful Prince Edward. Queen Elizabeth II never complained; also people called her:" The Reptilian Royal Blue Blood Of British & Commonwealth Patronage "! R.I.P.
