I think the licensing was up and companies grabbed parts of the line. That valadork took the name, this company doing red shadow troopers iron blood etc etc then another company has the Roboskull

I do plan to put them next to the Action Force figs as even the original creator has said he would love to see these two together as he sees both lines to be a continuation of each other.

I am deeply impressed by how Fresh Monkey Fiction knocked these figures out of the park. The details, the accessories, the paint apps, and so on. I have a growing urge to pre-order the Sleepwalker Obsidian Elite Guardsmen as an army builder and jump on Dr. Caligari and Kiloworg Night Hunter. Something about characters with brains in jar heads and werewolves with miniguns pushes my buttons.

Holy crap! These are freaking cool! $37 a fig? I may sample. I got the translucent Forgotten King as he’s just sweet and glows in the dark. Looking at what you showed I like em all. Dracula is the least interesting of them all. That’s a shame. I have a very cool Dracula figure. I may hold out for another version. Forgotten King looks even better with paint. Now he’ll have an astral plane variant. I’m leaning toward him and a few soldiers as my sample. Love the Vampire soldier. Looks great. Love the crimson shadow guy. The green guns and eyes look cool and I see vampires with blood red eye. I’m torn. I’m just going to sample I think. The later figures like wolves and Halloween boy are enticing. This line does just grab you. It’s like epic story telling pieces from Universal monsters in a steam punk sci fi adventure. Great first look.

I love how HYDRA-esque the green & black/red troopers feel, they'd look really nice next to a good Cap & Red Skull! $30+ for an army builder is a tall ask (for me at least) but it's nice to see you get what you pay for with all those accessories

I pre-ordered this entire wave when it initially went up, and I'm glad to see that they turned out really well. I think I'll be combining these with my Action Force and GI Joe Classified on my shelves. Probably Joe and AF supplementing these guys, as I like the fantasy aspect of Monster Force over the more standard Military vs Terrorist organization. looking forward to getting these and future waves. DEATH PROOF! I was lucky enough to be at the world premier in Austin Texas at the Paramount theatre. The cast was there (and Goldie) and the car was parked out front on Congress Avenue and Kurt was leaning up against it (roped off). QT sat 3 seats away from us. Afterwards we went to a party at the Texas Chili Parlor (as seen in the film, and yes they are known for their amazing nachos) for shots of Chartreuse!!

Thanks for the detailed review, the video length was justified. This is a really cool line and can be mixed with other lines. The GI Joe classified series Iron Grenadiers fit in just fine. Some characters remind me of the WWI themed Wonder Woman movie. All in all a versatile series.

These turned out so amazing! I had planned on just getting Dracula, but dang if I don't find myself wanting the vampire troops and the Sleepwalker soldiers! The Sleepwalkers would look really cool in a Marvel Legends display as elite Hydra Troopers, and the vampires would look great squaring off against Blade. The fact that they can slot in to so many different lines is wonderful, and I love the interchangeable aspect that lends to customization. The reuse doesn't bother me a bit, as they managed to really make each figure stand out on their own. The paint apps alone are worth the price, but when you add in alternate heads and what-not, it really seems like a bargain.

I was planning to get some of the figures for either customs, army builders, or to fudge them into other lines. But, based on the text on the back of the boxes, I genuinely want more of this story. It sounds like a film out of the eary 2000's ala Hellboy/Van Helsing/Underworld that my 13-year old self used to consume on repeat.
