Operation Spring Forward

On April 4th, 2024, the Atlanta Police Department’s Gang Unit conducted a successful detail with the assistance of APEX, ACE, Zones 1-6 FIT Teams, Phoenix Air Unit, and our dedicated Analysts. Officers were able to make 17 arrests, recover 16 firearms and illegal narcotics. Of the 17 arrests, five will result in Gang Charges. Four of the handguns recovered were modified with switches
