You can't make this sh!t up My biology teacher, the badass she is, did teach us evolution but she didn't call it "evolution" so that none of the kids would complain to the school. She basically said "There's lots of evidence nowadays that..." and she basically just gave a basic rundown of evolution

The American Patriotic Song "My Country Tis of Thee" uses the same tune as "God Save the Queen/King". And "Pop goes the Weasel" was popular in the US as well. Bart affects a cockney accent because it is a stereotypical British Accent. It's like affecting a Southern Accent, or a Chinese accent. It's a stereotype.
