@@KushClarkKent I'm maintaining psychologically/spiritually so I'm grateful for that. Physically still in a lot of pain, but it is what it is. Trying out some SNRI that may help if it's a neuropathy type issue, but hopefully getting a spinal stimulator implant soon! Fingers crossed lol. Thanks for asking btw. Sorry for writing you a novel.

ALSO ALSO, Dave's constant shitting on capitalism is a curious thing... being a fan of history you'd think he would know how murderous some of the alternatives can be. I'm not trying to be a dick. I just think it's ignorant to act like capitalism is the cause of all our problems. Plus he was born and raised wealthy. Cry me a fucking river. That being said, this is still one of my very favorite podcasts. I don't have to agree with everything I hear to appreciate all the laughs they've provided me. And they make a lot of good points too... it just gets overwhelming when every episode feels like they're just shitting all over the states and Americans. I was raised in the Philippines, and as much as I love it there are just so many problems that you don't have to deal with here. Like corruption on EVERY LEVEL of every power structure. Like trash all over every street. Like the worst infrastructure you can imagine, the worst health care. I want to change a lot of things about the U.S. but I'm also grateful for a lot of things. Dave sounds to me like he takes a lot for granted. And maybe it's best that he's focused on what he wants to change... but I don't think I've ever heard him speak in praise of any aspect of the U.S. or American culture or anything. A lot of places are still in the dark ages, and for all its flaws, the U.S. provides a lot more opportunity for upward mobility than most of the world. Anyway, I know I'm probably just talking to myself. But it feels good to write these things. I've listened to every episode several times (minus the live ones) and I'm not going to stop listening any time soon. I really do love these guys.
