Also, if you don't mind i would like to ask a few questions. First of to clear some things i am from Manchester in Year 10 so i still have a way to go. My first question is which flight school/path you took to become a pilot, or any you may recommend near me (Because your accent sound northern). I don't come from a rich background so could you take that into consideration. Also I am lacking in french at school and wonder if that could hinder anything job related. Thanks in advance.

First of all lots of pilots including myself don't come from wealthy backgrounds, I went down the modular route, because it was cheaper, I would recommend integrated though if you can! see my video on how to become a pilot for all the info. I managed to get a loan with the help of my parents (basically a second mortgage) which i now pay back. Good luck :)

oh and i did my training in spain as it was cheaper, but your local fly school is a good place to start. you can go for the PPL first to get into it. :) You only need english to be pilot.

Yes LIDO actually calculates the route, and it has all the published restrictions in its database (including RAD) to produce an IFPS valid flightplan.
