Great video and crystal clear technique. Much better than some of the methods I've seen and much better than my text book. Thank you for making the video. You saved my mind.

for 7:21 how did you get the loop? I don't understand why it is not a standard four-square loop.

How do I choose the three other cells for my loop. Let's say I have two possibilities for forming a loop in my basic feasible solution. What criteria do I use to choose the correct loop? Or does it even matter which loop I choose?

When you mention the Even and odd cells at around 4:55, did you accidentally mix up odd and even? I am confused
@98KingQuad6 жыл бұрын
nevermind, I have realized that you define even or odd based off of numbering the loop cells from 0 to 3 in a clockwise direction

In 8:05 how did you update Us and Vs? Shouldn’t v1=8 and V4=9 ?
@dominictan81457 жыл бұрын
at 7:28 why do you skip the basic value of 10. Does the positive and negative sign take effect on the loop
@YongWang7 жыл бұрын
Dominic, good question. You can try stopping at 10 and see if you can form a loop. (The answer is no.)

What do you do when the Northwest Corner method yielded only BF solution where c_11, c_21, c_22, c_33, c_34 and c_44 have values? Because then I got stuck after figuring out u_1, u_2, v_1, v_2 using c_11, c_21 and c_33....

Is there any rule that turning point of the loop should lie on the basic variable?
@hosseinfaridnasr27784 жыл бұрын
The loop should only consist of basic variables

BTW, do you have any videos show that how to find out the initial tableau before we starting the steps, in this video, at the beginning, you just give a initial tableau directly
@YongWang7 жыл бұрын
Yes, it was introduced in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6uohIWKqLGhi80

At 5:30 shouldn't it be w33 instead of w32? w33 = u3 + v3 - c33 = -2 +12 - 16 = -6. Anyways, THANK YOU for this video! God bless you!! Really!
@YongWang7 жыл бұрын
Thanks, NoctLightCloud. You are correct. It is supposed to be w33, not w32.

Mr wang, at the first table, u3+v1 = 14 you said but 8+4 = 12, is it correct or did i misunderstood the problem ? thank you for video!!
