Well,we are talking about converting a transshipment problem into a transportation problem how can we we start off by saying construct an original transportation problem when we are trying to convert it?

in my textbook they add the total supply point to original supply and demand points. in your example the demand in row4, column 3 will be 350 + 130? thoughts?

Hi Mudrit, Interesting. Never noticed it before. I googled it. There are 2.8 million results of "transshipment", and 1.5 million results of "transhipment"
