This song is about a demon possessing someone. He uses different tones in his voice to depict the demon, the narrator and the person being possessed. First part with the distorted growls (the demon lurking as if he was underneath), clean growls (as if the demon was on top persuading). The guitar solos that follow is the person being submitted/possesed. First aggressive solo (like fighting it) then more growls (the demon) convincing/persuading). Then light keyboard and soft part comes in as a feeling of being overcome and submitted by the demon and the clean vocals is the narrator depicting the scene of conversion. Then the aggressive nature of the demon takes completely over. *insert headbanging here* .....and then..... "Aaaaaaaaah" "Silently" "Aaaaaaaaaaah" "Whispering" "Aaaaaaaaah" "Move in me and set me free".. Is the final submission/total possession. Then the rest of the song "is it over??" is the feeling of being set free of the pain. First its silence, then echoes. I get a feeling of weightlessness from it as if I where a ghost that doesnt feel pain. :) Opeth is all about imagination and feeling. They're stories. Adventures. Picture yourself in the song and maybe you'll feel the music inside you....
