Ophidian - Hard Techno x Darkcore Mix

This mix is a tribute to my love of early 2000’s Darkcore, combined with the drive of modern day Hard Techno. In my mind this just sounded like a combination that would work. In practice, it was still quite a bit of work to get the completely different sounds aligned, but I think the end result was well worth the effort. Enjoy!

early 2000's darkcore and generally the darker, more industrial side of hardcore, was the best. so many good memories. dr z vago, e-noid/dione, sei2ure, ophidian, project omeaga, delta9 (from darkness is still just pure gold), nosferatu, meagashira, enzyme X, mmhh.. i wish i could go back in time and live through it again.

This mix takes me back to two dimensions from the past. The darkcore era and the 'Schranz' techno that was also popular back in those days. This techno definitly sounds better than the style that is out there now, which sounds more like 'technofied raw hardstyle'. You did a good job converting these awesome tracks into hardtechno, with even a bit rougher after the first half! More of this!!
