I've come to believe the reason OPI is doing these types of collections where there are at least two variations of the same color is so that people with different undertones to their skin will find a flattering version of that color. Hence a blue red and an orange red, a warm pink and a cool pink, etc.

So warm and cozy for fall! Although I liked last year's Iceland collection better, I appreciate that they went for something different this year. I also love that the reds are different from what we see in a typical OPI collection.

🧐I wonder if they’re striving to provide a particular shade for darker and lighter skin. Each shade gives the same general effect but in a shade that better flatters a certain skin tone range. So the collection is really just 6/7 colors which I think serves the general population well.

The colors are really off, I'm wearing Alpaca my Bags right now and it's at least two tones darker than on the video. The OPI official preview makes it look even lighter. So weird.

Thanks for this review! I liked Alpaca My Bags, Just Be-Cusco and Yes My Condor Can-Do best, but overall was hoping for a more exciting fall collection from OPI. Especially with a polish named Somewhere Over The Rainbow Mountains, they could have done something really fun with holo, or at least shimmer. 🙄 Oh well.

I love your live applications and dupes. Anytime I see a new collection come out I hurry and go here to see if you made a video yet. However, I was wondering if you could go back to using the clear nail display or back to the black background because the white is making the colors appear darker than what is on your hand and in the bottle

Even though the colors were pretty basic I really enjoy this collection. In my collection I mostly have dark colors or oranges, so the alpaca, llama and the beiges are really interesting to me. Only thing is that one OPI polish costs 18 dollars in Sweden...

Fall nail polish is out already omg I thought we just got the summer collection. I'm a little disappointed that there is no sparkly colors. There was nothing that really wowed me. But I'm happy you found lilac color you love. But nothing for me. Oh well wait for winter collection. Do you know why they just did fall collection when last year it was both?

If somebody is intetested. I just had Essie exoressie notifications on and switched to opi como se lama and those are rrally sooo similar. I had bo idea that this is sich a brownisch red. If you have one or the other,you dont really need both. . The opi has more shine and depth tough.

I don’t think I’ve ever picked up a whole collection from OPI, but considering how proud and excited I am of them for doing a Latin American country that may not be as well know as others, I’m pretty much sold on the location alone. In terms of variety... yeah, not much. Nothing seems to top the Iceland collection though. I felt a lot of these colors were spring though.. it’s like 75% spring with like 2 reds and then actual fall colors. Kinda disappointed in that front but I’ll support regardless. Thanks again for your honest and lovely reviews!

First time I watched you live swatch. I did not like it. Here's why. The Way you hold your hand it looks like your nail has dents in it. Like two spots that look like little valley. Every Time you paint these spots show up really bad. It is a distraction

Kevin Mebruer it's almost impossible not to have those dent marks. They are caused by the lights hitting the shiny polish. The only way it wouldn't do that is use a matte Topcoat. But then that would alter what the polishes are supposed to look like. And you definitely can't swatch without overhead lighting.

The Way you hold your finger when you swatch colors makes it look like two craters in middle of your nail. Have mentioned this to you before. I know it is such a little thing to complain about. But it drives me nuts. Won't be watching any more of your swatches. Sorry.
