I'm just strolling thru diff videos I'm on day 4 with help from loved ones that didn't want me to die. Actually I quit for 8 days and relapsed cause I still wasn't feeling great but was over the worst. Well 4 days ago I started all over. My drug is herion/fent (cheaper ) I finally got 3 or 4 hrs of sleep last nite but tonight and tomo will b better. It's hard very hard but it's do able with little help. If u can have someone give you a benzo maybe twice a day. It helps lots of things but only a few days 10yr ago I quit cold turkey for 3 yrs until I got around a wrong person. The emotional, restlessness ,sneezing ,insomnia etc will almost make u wanna kill ur self especially when u know u could feel better in prob just a few min , gotta b stronger than u ever have in ur life i know it sounds dramatic but it was very real thoughts. This time will b permanent. Wish me luck 🙏 hopefully just a few days left of detox and them work hard staying sober. It's a much better life

Taper off the opiates. If you feel that sick you take a little off the opiates to take the edge off then go as long as possible until you're sick sick again, If you repeat that you won't reverse the sickness, you're tapering off technically. Not saying go use if you're still in this predicament, but that is a technical taper

@@charlessoukup1111 I'm guessing that you have seen you tube and Reddit post on kratom. the withdrawal's truly not completely over even in 6 months, at least for me. It is an absurdly long, disheartening withdrawal, getting off opiates. I was sick for 11 months when I quit a 2.5 year opium habit age 23. But I stuck with it and eventually couldn't even remember what an opiate felt like to crave it. If you can get off for long enough, the craving does go away.

3:35 you’re wrong about that. Opioid withdrawal CAN cause death. It is rare and It pretty much only affects. people that have used it for long duration’s, on high doses. You can die from withdrawals. Either from a heart attack or stroke. Due to increased blood pressure. you also could have seizures. Or You could also die from dehydration. Due to diarrhea and vomiting 🤮. You could also die from electrolyte imbalance. It’s rare to die from opioid withdrawal. However, it is still very possible.

I wish you guys can stop saying opiate withdrawals aren’t deadly. First of all it depend on the opiate you we using and the duration of use. Another thing is undiagnosed condition you might have or even pre diagnosed health problems that can potentially make your withdrawals/detox deadly. Fentanyl withdrawals are potentially more chance of being deadly compared to other opiates like prescription opiates. I personally know a few people that died from fentanyl withdrawals. I know people that had to be hospitalized,one person was in a 2 day coma because of it. It also depends on other drugs the person may have been using along with the opiate use. More often than not opiate users are on other drugs,many are on benzodiazepines. Now with tranq dope and/or benzo dope that’s out there it makes withdrawals potentially deadly. Users sometimes have no idea that their street opiates are laced with other drugs even though it’s becoming more prevalent then ever.

Would there be any chance of a video about jumping from full opiate to subutex back to full and back to sub? I've had a lot of relapses and now starting to find it really hard to go back to the subutex. Now, when I start back to the subutex, the mind withdrawal sometimes lasts sometimes for weeks to months. I've been jumping back and forth from oxy to sub for over 2 years but now I find it harder than ever to get back onto the subutex and my relapse on oxy only lasted 4 days. There are no real body withdrawal, just mental torture. I used to take my last oxy before I went to bed at 9pm and took a subutex in the morning and felt fine. After taking oxy 9pm I've always been good to take the subutex after 5:50am. Never had precipitated withdrawal. Thank you.

I failed a drug test and the doctor gave me one tapered dose which was a 25 percent reduction. No follow up and was told to find another doctor. I know that what I done was wrong but the doctor was in the wrong for not doing a slow taper. Tapers should be done slowly not rapidly to avoid harmful side effects. I have tried to get a doctor to help me and they refused. I found a doctor to help me but it's a few months away. I don't understand why this doctor treated me this way. Just go higher on methadone don't completely stop the methadone for ketamine. I been on methadone for six years from 149 mg to now I'm at 57 mgs. I get cravings constantly but after two years your brain won't remember the opiate high anymore. At least mine didn't and everyone I know on methadone after two years the brain does rewire to not have the mental or any cravings for opiates. Good luck, I have to say methadone is a life saver for me. Both my brothers are also opiate addicts, one is on methadone and one is now on fentanyl everyday all day. He didn't like methadone, but my opinion he wanted to get high more than he wanted to get sober. I started methadone eight months pregnant so I had to do what was right for my child. I've tried numerous times to get OFF of Methadone. Never been able to... Tried every way but no can do. My heartbeat becomes so unstable and scary fluttering that no amount of propranolol or clonidine will help. Tried switching to suboxone (horrible).

How should we do it because the methadone is making her twitch when she sleeps and have like mini seizures and is causing her to have sleep apnea
@kenconley96422 жыл бұрын
@@otpolowhite you could try a slow taper, my experience has been you can take alot off at first, but when you get down to the last 20 mgs you have to slow wayyy down, like 1 mg per week. Ive Been on methadone for 22 years and have tried to taper off numerous times.Never had any luck stopping tho.But everyone is different. Red vein KRATOM from a reputable source could help alot.I've had it erase withdrawal from methadone (entirely). Just couldn't stomach it was the only problem. If you could put it into capsules it would be good. I get the mini seizure thing too when drifting off to sleep.(myclonic jerk) it's called.

Hey doc a have been watching all you stuff lately and really appreciate the time you but into this for free. The question I also ask but can’t get an answer for is what is the easiest way to get off fast acting opiates onto subs without putting yourself in part withdrawals???? I have the clinic chart but huge huge tolerance play a part into dosing the sub?? For example some has a huge tolerance say 1-3g of fentanyl a day. That person will start feel withdrawal fast but still has a huge amount still in their system.

I'm not a doc, but (I think) you could get on just the Buprenorphine part in the beginning. It takes 24-48 hours for it to begin to work in patch form. Then, you could remove the patch and begin Suboxone. 15:15

Talking about people dying from opioids must have been quite boring to him , I’ve watched this doctor in other videos and in my opinion he’s out to push Suboxone and I saw him for what he was all about , easy to recognize especially when your living the reality of suboxone because your strung out on that sick ass shit , again , I’m so tired of the lies and people continually suffering from the greediness!!!!

Maybe true to some extent, but not if you're a struggling addict. Trust me I am one and kratom for me caused many health problems and further addictions. People self medicating at home with a bag in their cupboard is not safe if they are prone to uncontrolled recreational use and are suffering with untreated emotional traumas
