For some strange reason I happen to remember this, but Brutus Beefcake got "The Barber" gimmick when he won a hair vs hair match against (I believe) Adrian Adonis. After winning the match he cut Adrian's hair off, and from then on he adopted the whole "Barber" gimmick.

I'd check it out, it was Kayfabe Commentaries, History of WWE 1989, Brutus gives a ton of insight as to what exactly happened backstage through the whole year, and other events from his career time.

Its not for everybody sure, but don't bash someone for what they enjoy. This is America and we're free to enjoy whatever we want without being bashed for it. As long as nobody is hurt, who cares?
