Yankee fans hate a-rod because he never really delivered and he has a ridiculous salary. In the playoffs he was shitty, and that's what fans care about. And now hearing the tape of a-rod crying is a fucking joke. Baseball doesn't want to destroy the career of its most famous player. That's like the NFL trying to make Manning or Brady look like cheaters. Never happen. They aren't out to get a-rod, they just can't protect him any longer.

They paid him in cash because that's what he requested. That caller is was dumb. Again, what's to gain by destroying the biggest name in the sport? The truth was coming out and MLB had to be percieved as wanting to keep the sport clean.

I'm not a Yankee fan but even I'm confuse: I thought If you a fan of a team you support the players regardless.....jimmy is a due hard Yankee fan how you don't like Alex Rodriguez? I remember when he came back from a suspension they were booing him at a home game

Jimmy wouldn’t care if the entire team got cancer. It’s like Artie Lange once said “we pay a guy millions to hit the baseball then he doesn’t hit the baseball”. Kinda easy to hate the smug prick
