You don't need this clip. Just go back to right after the phone goes out on the first clip and he says he was trying to think of something real funny, Jim asks what was it and he double talks and stalls his way out of it. He was probably just zoned out reading instant feedback while the number went out. The only guarantee is that he wasn't thinking of something funny to say, he never had that mental capability.
