He says "I'm trained classically" which may or may not be true, but it's fine, for what it's worth, but then he says "I'm trained contemporaneously" which by itself means nothing. He was maybe trying to say that he's trained in contemporary music, which pretty much means nothing either. You can be trained classically, as well as in other forms, but off the top of my head I'm not aware of any non-theory, practical university courses in pop, rock and roll, rock or rap. But let's get back to contemporaneously. "Contemporaneously" basically means "at the same time as". Which means Mr Negative Torso said, "I'm trained at the same time as!"
@armandoa.rodriguez-valenti90555 жыл бұрын
@Nx Doyle Hi 👋 As you said, we all already know what is defined as "Classical" music (era of Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, yadda yadda) but, when Gollum's long-lost brother stated he's also trained "contemporaneously", he was referring to himself being trained in contemporary music. This form of music refers to music "at/of the same time" also know as "modern music", you know -- more complex rhythms, synthetic & electronic sounds, etc., such as Heavy Metal, techno, rap, trap (although recently formed) etc.. So what this specimen was saying, is that he's been in the "older, melodious" arts of the Classical Era & that "upbeat, electronic" style of the Modern Era.
@DuskLegend2 жыл бұрын
