I'm not a kitchen fitter but I installed a similar worktop myself after watching this - even though I was a bit unsure as to whether to follow this guy's tips, given that everyone was knocking his work. But he seemed like he knew what he was doing, so I took a chance, and do you know WHAT, all you bloody naysayers...! Yeah. My worktop turned out absolutely shite as well.

I install granite and the best and cleanest way to do it outside so as not to make too much dust.

This is a good starting point, but it felt like the DIY/Low Budget method. I've been watching a few different videos today and this was the "cheap" way to do it from what I've seen. But if you're happy with the results then that's fine, I suppose.

As a professional quartz and granite countertop fabricator and installer, please do not do this. You void your warranty when you surface polish quartz.

pretty sure this is just acrylic solid surface and not quartz. the whole point is to sand the worktop to get a near seamless finish.
