And most of the biggest stars came from modest backgrounds with no connection to showbiz: these 3, Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts, Idris Elba, Daniel Craig, Anne Hathaway, Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, Leo Dicaprio, Jim Carrey, Zendaya, Christian Bale, on and on. Even those who had a famous parent or something -- that might get you an agent, might get you a few auditions, but if you're not actually talented and bringing something to the table, you won't last long.
