I usually dont take interest in scriptwriting or what goes on behind the scenes of making a movie but I found this actually interesting.

Never thought I would be interested in a scriptwriting video. The section regarding passengers reminded me about “unfilmable” books and scripts many of which were actually made. If you ever take a dip back into the pre-production phase I would love to see what you can dig up about that.

Definitely sounds like something I'd be interested in diving into!

Since you talked about Oppenheimer, I thought about Godzilla Minus One. And since you talked about first person scriptwriting, I would love to see a Godzilla movie that’s totally from Godzilla’s POV. It would be brilliant to see what he thinks.

What a dive into script writing and what goes on behind the scenes of translating it into the big screen. Great video! It wasn't confusing at all. The train was thought was smooth and easy to follow. You're also forgiven for using AI images lol.

Beautiful editing and script, will continue watching after having finished Oppenheimer. Also love the Lebanese accent randomly coming through.

Way to end the year on a bang! Fascinating topic to tackle🤔 I greatly appreciated your emphasis on emotion being Seen Instead of Read. The inability to translate Passengers into imagery, despite it’s strong potential on paper, is an important lesson. I couldn’t find info about the script but Hardcore Henry (2015) was filmed entirely as a first person shooter similar to the Doom sequence. You made me regret not buying the Doom 4K🤣 Looking forward to more great videos in 2024👏

Hardcore Henry actually came up during my research, but I actually opted to leave it out, given that it seemed like it was just playing into the 1st person POV gimmick of the whole movie (with it being shot entirely in 1st person). Honestly, there were a couple more scripts I was interested in researching too, but I didn't want this video becoming too bloated. 😅 Thank you so much, Colin! As always, I'm really happy to have you along for the ride. You a real one.
