My first IMAX movie experience was in 2010.... AVATAR at Prasad's IMAX. I took a morning flight from Chennai and to my luck, singer P Susheela was in that flight. I went on and got an autograph from her 🙂 Fond memories.....

I watch all of your uploads. The uploads you do, be it camera reviews or photography info videos, they are so good and informative. And this video is really an important one. Even Filmbuffs dont care about the formats and resolution. Only few give important to these parameters. And neenga atha tamil la crisp and clear ah sonnadhu romba good. Have watched Magnificent Desolation, Dark Knight (shot on IMAX Film Cameras), Spider-Man 3, Avatar and another movie I can’t remember. S3 and Avatar were not IMAX I’m not sure what the theater does These days. I think they have converted fully to digital and not Laser. Not sure

Sound problem?? - you could have easily removed it. As you mentioned it You have noticed it while editing, so you could have used tools like NIvidia Sound support if you have that graphics card.

Nexas vijaya forum mall IMAX also so good we could feel the reality … IMAX digitally upgraded and it’s worth also … but your perception think you could only get it film type projections… … Prasand IMAX film projection only and it’s not support digital version… so everyone choose upgrade one.. even you shoot with imax film you can also covert suitable IMAX digital version

I have a doubt, So they run the film in vertical while shooting films, but then it becomes tall and narrow (vertical orientation) rather than wide(horizontal orientation) but all the films we see are wide...so how does that work? Wont most of the space in the upper and lower part go waste?

that's a great question.. the aspect ratio is maintained, so, we get a smaller image.. that's what makes it Super35mm. Read more about it, it is all fascinating.. There are so many other film formats such as Panavision, VistaVision, etc.

Yes "true" 70mm IMAX is a very special treat, but sadly not many cinemas now use it as its so much more expensive to make and screen than digital format.
