All this misunderstanding of photography is because of bringing pro mode and potrait mode in phones. This is just the bare basic things of photography. The software blur can never replace the natural blur given by the lens

Well said bro! Nowadays most ppl think that their mobile could take better photos than most photographers, but they don't realise how much of our time, resources and effort we put in to hone our skills and take better photos. The learning curve for photography is forever, just like it is for any other profession. Be it for a hobbyist or a professional. It's a never ending learning journey. And the coolest thing about photography is not only you are learning about photography, you also learn more about the subject of your work. For instance if you are shooting a dance event, you get to know about the traditional and cultural values of the art. If you're photographing wildlife, you get to know more about the behaviour and the characteristics of the fauna. For me, photography is getting to know the world better rather than just clicking photos.

I am an Engineer Graduate and I love Maths .Even from my point of view asking Why these shutter speed ,aperture ,no of aperture blade is important in Wide lens ... !
