I'm using Nex and it's a brilliant phone. Using Nova launcher without any issues in Indian version. Hope Vivo enables EIS via sw update and increase the sharpness a bit on rear cam.

definitely prefer vivo nex due to the larger screen, bigger battery, headphone jack, fingerprint scanner and also the cheaper price. but god damn it, it's not on sale in my country whereas i can easily get my hands on a oppo find x...

Woah... drowned and still working? I respect Vivo phones even more after knowing that. I'm using the Y53 right now. Been using it for the past year and a half and I've no idea how many times I dropped this thing, but it's still working AND without any noticeable cracks. There are some very very minor scratches on the screen but that doesn't take away from the display or touchscreen performance at all.. More brands should follow Vivo's example.. It's like Vivo is one of the few that has respect for their consumers coz of the durability of their phones, even the mid-range ones.. unlike some other famous brands. I respect that. {hope you don't mind my ranting but wow Vivo 👍

I watched Jerryrigged reviews, Vivo Nex is the most durable among those two phones. A total fail bend test for the Oppo Find X while the pop-up camera of the vivo has a good review for durability.

Bought the NEX and I love it!!! The design is neat and minimal, display looks beautiful and battery is amazing!! Cameras could have been better though. But I still sort of like it better than my Note 8 :)

I didn't think I'd find a detailed phone comparison video which covered and focused on all the right things these days but wow. Thanks and kudos to you dude :) Oppo's design combined with Vivo's features is my dream phone (plus wide-angle lens for the both the front&rear, and a telephoto lens for the second rear camera- perfect). If only those two brands would work together..

Great comparison but don't forget that the Oppo has a outdoor mode which pushes brightness even more, VOOC or super VOOC fast charging and can be found for 749€ in some stores already. Maybe it's just me but in many videos the screen of the Oppo looked a lot whiter and clearer than the one of the Vivo? I personally like the Oppo more because it feels like a more round and thoughtful package but both are awesome phones. It all depends on someone's preference here I think. Cheers:)

Plus the headphone jack is still a thing for me. To each for their own. There's never a perfect phone for everyone.

Dear Android OEMs Please don't let the removal of the Fingerprint Scanner become a trend. The removal of the headphone jack is annoying enough but not a total dealbreaker. Android has always been a haven for people looking for options. Please do not remove features just for the sake of removing them or being courageous and copying the top dog in the market. its a call back to Apple saying the removal of the headphone jack saying it was a move of "COURAGE" when everyone already knows its removal is to make people buy the airpods and their lightning earpieces which will cost more than a standard earpiece using a 3.5mm headphone jack. I'll take the NEX, onscreen finger print scanner, that's a major go, it means you don't need to open your front facing camera for a face recognition and there's no point to hide the rear camera like Find X, it's impractical and it's taking the wear and tear to the mechanism much faster.

Superb comparison, both look great. For me I’m leaning more towards the Vivo Nex, I think it achieves the notchless full screen display more efficiently with the small pop up Selfie Cam’ which would have less wear and tear (especially for me as I don’t use the Selfie Cam’ much) compared to the Oppo solution with the pop up for both cameras and face unlock. Nice one.

I love both phones I own the oppo and no complain so sar amazing phone wherever I go is an eye catching phone. I live in Minnesota so you know not too many know about this phone. I'm in love with oppo maybe later will buy the nex just to have both.
